Screw Top Whiskey BottlesIf you're looking for screw top whiskey bottles, an online auction is probably your best bet. Going to auctions was always the best way to find bargains on collectible bottles. Now -- with Internet auctions -- it's the best way to find a wide selection. Here are screw top whiskey bottle auctions currently running on eBay. These are live. Click on any of the listings for more information. If there are no listings above, it could be a bug in the program. You may want to click over and search for "screw top whiskey bottle" or something more specific such as "19th century screw top whiskey bottle" or whatever suits your fancy. You might be surprised at what you find. The variety of items being auctioned at eBay never ceases to amaze me. By the way, if you collect bottles, you might want to consider picking up Hugh Cleveland's Bottle Pricing Guide. It supposedly has great pictures for identification. Jim Megura's Official Price Guide to Bottles may be the better overall reference book.
Have Fun! Ted Whitten P.S. If you're new to eBay, here are some tips. The first thing you'll need to do is register. This is free and easy. You'll have to provide some basic contact information, but that will be kept completely private. Before you bid on an item I highly recommend checking the seller's "feedback rating." This gives you an indication of how the seller has treated other buyers. Almost everybody ends up with a negative review here and there, but too many is a bad sign. Read the negative comments and decide for yourself. Also be sure to check the shipping and payment details. Some unscrupulous sellers charge too much for shipping and handling. P.P.S. If any of these are closer to home for you, consider: eBay Canada, eBay UK, or eBay Australia.
